Amazing Navajo artist, Jimmy Harrison, has been hand-crafting gorgeous jewelry since he was in high school in his hometown of Gallup, New Mexico.
The New Mexico night sky with the moon, the big dipper constellation and comet over the Southwest mesas and formations is stunning. The colors of the jet, turquoise, lapis and coral he carefully carved and inlaid are gorgeous together.
This pendant is the best one I've seen of his creations that are available online right now. Plus, it comes with a gorgeous 20" Navajo "pearl" necklace with 6mm sterling silver beads. I don't know if Mr. Harrison also made the chain.
Signature stamp on the back of the pendant.
*There is a teeny bit of the tip of the coral triangle inlay missing in the moon (see photo). I only noticed it after I took the close-up photos.
